Once again we were faced with a £1000+ potential bill to repair a broken downpipe using scaffolding. I contacted Tony to come and look at the job and he turned up, looked at it, and fixed it immediately. His work is thorough, professional and sound. His previous repair (see below) has stood up to the worst storms and wind speeds and we have complete confidence in his professionalism and will continue to call on him whenever we have roofing issues. His charges are extremely reasonable and he has saved us a lot compared with other quotes. Still five stars.

Faced with a near thousand pound bill to repair a joint in our gutter, using scaffolding, Tony at Great Western Roofing responded immediately to our enquiry and attended the site, tested his own ladder for access and returned a few days later with a longer ladder and carried out the repair at much less cost then the original quote from another organisation. At all times Great Western Roofing staff have behaved in the most pleasant, helpful and professional manner and I have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone.

Tony and the team provided excellent service at a very competitive rate. Our house was completely re-roofed in slate and the gutters and fascias were replaced. I cannot fault the workmanship, reliability or attention to detail and would have no hesitation in recommending GWR to anyone considering a new roof. Communication was excellent. They turned up when they said they would and provided regular updates by way of photos and text messages as the work progressed.

Really happy with the work done by Great Western Roofing.

We had an ongoing leak affecting the top floor and loft, and after getting a few quotes, we decided to go with them. From the start, they were straightforward, explained things clearly, properly checked the roof by going up there, and didn’t try to push unnecessary work.

They stripped back the affected area and fixed everything properly rather than just patching it. You can tell they knew what they were doing. They also kept the place tidy and worked efficiently.

Not only the flat owners in the building were impressed with these guys, but also people around the area which asked for their contact as well.

Communication was good throughout, they shared multiple photos -before/during/after (including descriptions which makes it a lot easier to understand) and they did what they said they would do. The job was completed on time, no disruptions to the owners and tenants and everything looks solid now.

Overall, very reliable and easy to deal with — would definitely recommend if you want the job done at high standards and no headaches.

I've had great interaction with Great Western Roofing over the past few years. Storm damage and a broken Velux initially a few years ago. Replacement soffits and gutters were handled really well by the guys last year. And last week they replaced a gulley and several dodgy tiles that I'd ignored for a long time but were causing water ingress. All dealt with promptly..

Tony and his team are excellent, I cannot recommend them enough.
My house is over 100 years old so its important the correct materials are used on it and Tony knew what should be done and how; they repaired my guttering, skew and chimneys.
My two neighbours have also used GWR too and we are all happy with their work.
GWR is a company that actually cares about its customers.

We can not praise Tony and his team enough for the work they did for us on the roof. Honesty and professionalism at its best. Always kept us up to date with the progress with pictures and txts daily. They worked hard at getting the job done to a very high standard.
Great Western Roofing were not only chosen for their quote but, as someone said before, you just know when you have a good honest reliable professional letting you know the honest facts. Cannot thank them enough for rectifying the absolute horror our daughter found herself with. Thank you Tony and your team.

Recently replaced my roof. They did a fantastic job. It was a pleasure to have workmen who turn up prompt everyday, start work right away and other than their breaks didn't go near their phones or newspapers. They worked hard, completed work to a high standard, were polite and tidied up when they were finished. My new roof looks great, thanks Tony, Thomas, Craig and the rest of the team.

Great service from start to finish, got my house re-roofed & Velux window replaced in December. Guys done an amazing job! Roof looks first class can’t recommend these guys enough! If your thinking of re-roofing or even a roof repair this is the company for a first class service. Arrived on time every morning & left the garden clean & tidy everyday, also came back when the scaffolding came down & cleaned my windows & UPVC…..perfect finishing touch 👌🏼. Thank you to Tony, Thomas & Team. Irene

Great Service from Thomas at GWR. I contacted Thomas for a survey and repair quotation after I had a leak in my master bed room. He was a pleasure deal with and surveyed the work quickly, provided a detailed quote with pictures at a very reasonable price compared to other firms that had missed the other issues he had spotted. The only hold up we had in the work was due to scafolding being required for the repairs and a permit needing to be granted by the city due to being on a main road. The work was completed quickly and efficiently replacing all parts that were worn out and patching where nessisary to stop the ingress of water. Can recommend and will use in the future
